Late-Night Attack Reported on North Sheffield Avenue
A 27-year-old man and his 6-year-old son were injured during a stabbing incident late Sunday night in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, according to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:24 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in the 2700 block of North Sheffield Avenue, located between Diversey Parkway and Schubert Avenue. Authorities said the victims were walking in the area when they were approached by an unknown individual.
Chicago police responded to reports of an assault and arrived to find both victims injured.
Altercation Leads to Stabbing
