Deputies Respond to Early Morning Shooting Call
One person was killed and three others were injured following a shooting at a residence near Strasburg, Colorado, early Sunday morning, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to a home located north of 96th Avenue and Strasburg Road in eastern Adams County at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The area is largely rural and sits east of the Denver metropolitan region.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located a man who had sustained a gunshot wound. Despite emergency medical efforts, the individual was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
Three Additional Victims Transported to Hospitals
In addition to the fatality, deputies found three other individuals at the residence who had also been shot. Emergency medical responders provided care at the scene before transporting the injured individuals to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
